Adult Programs

Classes at Old Town School are taught with the folk tradition in mind in a community-based social setting with over 200 of the most talented teaching artists in the country. Whether you’re a beginner or the best on the block there’s a place – and a class – for you here. We believe music and dance should be fun! Come to learn and meet new people in the process.

Core Skills & Repertoire

Throughout our catalog you will find both Skills or Core classes and Repertoire (Rep) Classes. Skills classes teach you the basic techniques necessary to advance through the program. Repertoire classes reinforce skills and focus on playing more songs using learned techniques.
