Kids Jazz & Hip-Hop Dance Classes

Let's dance!

Jazz is a uniquely American dance and music form reflecting the different cultures that make up our amazing melting pot. In these Kids Jazz dance classes, we'll incorporate swing, African, hip-hop, salsa, and even a touch of ballet. Each week brings new moves and a new combination with its own "flavor," so come on in and boogie in these fast-paced classes!

Our Kids Hip-Hop classes will get your child up and moving and having fun! These classes will introduce dancers to the basic footwork, rhythms, musicality, and history of hip-hop in a casual, friendly environment. As children progress through the program, more challenging combinations and steps will be learned.

Both Kids Jazz and Hip-Hop classes will have the opportunity to perform in dance recitals hosted by the Old Town School throughout the year.

Jazz 1: ages 7 - 10
