This engaging class introduces kids to musical concepts, rhythms, beginner chords, and simple riffs and melodies on the guitar. Students will learn and play songs across various genres, from folk to rock, as they grow together as players. Learning in a group encourages students to listen and fosters a community for collaboration and performance. Fun musical games and activities reinforce musical learning. Repeating this class will establish a foundation for continued study in Kids’ Guitar 8 - 12 or participation in a Youth Ensemble.
