Join us under the tent for this socially-distanced class in our new outdoor classroom in Lincoln Square (located just south of our 4545 N Lincoln Ave location, through the large Lincoln Avenue parking lot)! In Ballet 1A, dancers will learn the basics of ballet and the fundamentals of dance to set them up for lifelong dancing. They will learn developmentally appropriate ballet skills, including the basic positions of arms and feet. They will begin to coordinate their bodies, combining basic skills into more complex locomotor movements. To top it off, through creative movement games and exercises dancers will explore fundamental dance concepts and their own personal creative expression, connecting meaning to movement. And of course, they’ll have a lot of fun, too!
