After the fiddlers all go home the banjos loosen up! Clawhammer style banjo is one of the most satisfying instruments to play solo and in this workshop you'll learn techniques to increase your enjoyment of your own playing. Learn how to live in the moment of the tune by playing with timing and pitch, expressing your own musicality. The tune "Liza Jane" will be used as an example in class and while it's not necessary to know "Liza Jane" in advance it could be helpful.
