Join Jeff Gandy for Old Town School’s newest Young Folk Theatre offering: Basic Improv!
In this 45 minute class, Young Folks will learn to let go of their inhibitions and play in a structured yet supportive environment. They will learn the concept of “Yes, and”, and how that ties into to working as an ensemble. They will build confidence in themselves, and will learn the ever important skills of listening to and supporting others. Best of all, they’ll be learning these life skills all while playing fantastically fun, kid-friendly improv games!
This class isn’t about learning to be an actor or a comedian, but about learning to express oneself through body, voice, and imagination. This class is open to all children between the ages of 4 and 6, whatever your experience in the arts may be!
