Join Donovan Mixon for this special workshop exploring the logic of the guitar fingerboard. Students will learn to build scales and intervals and play triads and 7th chords all over the neck. In addition, Mixon will cover left and right hand technique, improvisational concepts, and practice techniques.
World traveler, performer and N.E.A. recipient Donovan Mixon performs his exotic improvised compositions domestically and internationally in small clubs to international festivals. He has also taught as a professor at Berklee College of music and continues to give master classes around the country.
