A quintessential American dance form, Jazz combines many styles and techniques from vernacular and ethnic dance. Jazz IV is designed for the serious student who has studied Jazz Dance for at least three years. Increasingly difficult steps, turns, and jumps are taught at a rapid pace. Dancers are expected to learn quickly and practice the demanding choreography outside of class. Choreography is complex and demanding, training students to incorporate style, technique, and stage presence into their dancing. There are many performance opportunities.
