This is an advanced ensemble, mainly designed for people looking to meet other musicians, form bands, or have a group of friends to make music with at a fairly high level. The material is often challenging, but will provide real opportunities for skill-building.

This ensemble will explore the world of early rock & roll, rhythm & blues, and soul music, ranging from Louis Jordan to Philly Soul. We’ll often mostly focus on a particular artist or era — James Brown, Sly Stone, disco, funk, etc.
