For students interested in learning a wide variety of banjo styles and traditions. Whether moving on from Banjo 1 or previously experienced in some banjo playing and learning, this class is designed for students with a basic understanding of chords, tuning, and basic picking hand techniques. We will explore clawhammer and three-finger techniques in addition to the rich tradition of American banjo playing that doesn’t fall directly within the clawhammer or bluegrass styles.
