Always wanted to rock out on an electric guitar? This course will get you all the fundamentals specific to the instrument that you need to start! Discussion of technical aspects of the instrument will always be tailored to real examples from songs that you will be able to play through in no time. Topics include the anatomy and tuning of the guitar, basic counting skills; power chords, open chords, and barre chords; and right hand techniques such as palm muting and percussive chord muting. Repertoire is geared towards the rock guitar with examples from artists such as The Beatles, The Who, Heart, Nirvana, and many more.
