In this class we’ll learn the swinging’ standards of Gershwin, Berlin, Ellington, and more, on the mandolin. Thisclass also serves as an introduction to fundamental swing and jazz harmony and basic improvisation style and technique. Printed material will be provided in standard notation and TAB. Familiarity with standard notation and major scales is helpful.
