We’ll explore one of the more popular open guitar tunings: DADGAD. Some call it Irish Modal Tuning. There’s a lot to love about this tuning including plenty of droning string possibilities, octaves, unisons and more. It’s great for writing and improvisation. We’ll study essential shapes to know and take a side tour of one of the more popular rock classics using this tuning: Kashmir by Led Zeppelin. Bring a capo! This workshop is for intermediate/advanced players.
