A capo is an important tool that allows the singing guitarist to play in any key while maintaining the familiar sound and feel of open chords. This class is for singers who play guitar, know a lot of first position chords, and want to arrange songs in keys that suit their vocal range. By moving the capo around the guitar neck we will use songs to find your vocal range, introduce the Nashville numbering system for chords, learn how to leave room for harmony, and discover new rhythmic possibilities for your right hand.
