In Mini Dancers students will learn developmentally appropriate movement skills that will prepare them for their continued dance education. Students will coordinate their bodies with music by practicing basic dance steps, and locomotor and non-locomotor movements. Students will also play movement games that engage their active imaginations and active bodies, exploring how to express ideas through movement. Students will learn dance classroom etiquette, performance values, and social/emotional skills. These skills will include personal space, turn taking, focus and listening skills. And of course, they will have a lot of fun!
