The hammered dulcimer is one of the few instruments in the world with such a large geographic area to cover. This means that there are some really unique patterns to the instrument, and when understanding all the variations, you can fly through your instrument with ease. This workshop will focus on technique and theory. We will focus on the different chord variations and patterns of the dulcimer and how to best utilize your practice time. We will learn variations of chords, work on improving speed, agility and grace moving between patterns and notes.
