Kids Guitar 8-12 Continuing! is for students who have taken multiple levels of Kids Guitar 8-12. Your instructor can recommend the Continuing Level or contact Lisa DeRosia lderosia@oldtownschool.org with questions.

Special Info

Our Kids Guitar classes are designed to be repeated, and we strongly encourage students to take multiple sessions in each section. The curriculum naturally includes differentiation, as students return with new skills, greater confidence, and varying levels of experience. This allows us to continue challenging each child appropriately while reinforcing strong foundational skills.
We believe it is essential to encourage students to continue learning in a group setting. Over time, this builds a true community of learners — students who listen to one another, support each other, and develop the important skill of playing together. These experiences not only strengthen their musical growth but also foster confidence, teamwork, and a deeper enjoyment of music-making
