This is a continuation of Beginning Cello and is designed for students that have been playing for some time now. Building off of strong foundational skills, students in this class will learn how to play in positions outside of first position to expand students’ knowledge of the fingerboard. Teachers will emphasize ensemble and group playing skills and start to look at more advanced and refined skills such as dynamics and tone. Along with the Suzuki Book 1 and Book 2, this class will look at more diverse repertoire.
