A continuation of Intermediate Cello, this class looks at more advanced components of cello playing and musicianship. Students will be challenged and encouraged to strengthen and improve their skills through advanced bowing techniques, expanded knowledge of the fingerboard, and more complex literature. Building on the ensemble and group playing from the previous levels, students will continue their exploration of diverse repertoire, including pop, rock, folk music and classical music.
This class is designed as a continuation of Intermediate Cello. While previous participation in not strictly required, if you have not taken classes with us before, please reach out to the instructor to find out if this is the right class for you.
