The Global Dance Party series offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.
For one weekend in February, salsa takes over the Old Town School — learn the steps, feel the rhythm or just sit back and enjoy some of the best Latin and Afro-Caribbean music and dance in the Midwest!
The Chicago International Salsa Congress (CISC) produced by Rosita Ragin and Old Town School's very own mambo/chachacha instructor, Saladeen Alamin, presents a sizzling appetizer for the 17th annual Congress held on February 8-11 at the Westin O'Hare. This year's event features several stellar local dance troupes accompanied by the sounds of the Congress's signature DJs.
