Kids Dance & Movement Classes

The Old Town School's dance teachers help children of all ages experience the joy of dance and movement. In our dance classes, students will learn to use their own bodies to explore space, rhythm, music and mood through dynamic activities, steps and routines.

With movement development and physical coordination goals at each age level, Creative Movement classes leave plenty of time for games and improvisation, while more structured classes like Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop give students a foundation in technique, discipline and performance. Classes in ethnic styles, including Flamenco and Capoeira Angola, introduce children to unique dance forms from all over the world.

Both boys and girls will make new friends and have lots of fun in our encouraging and creative dance classes. Come out and dance with us!
