Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced musician looking to take your playing to another level, private lessons provide the opportunity to get the personal attention that can be beneficial to your growth as a musician.
Lessons are scheduled weekly, for 30, 45, or 60 minutes, and are available every day of the week at both our Lincoln Square and Lincoln Park locations. Our experienced and professional faculty will work with you to develop an individualized program that helps you achieve your musical goals.

Prices
- $216 for eight weeks of 30-minute lessons (member price $206);
- $314 for eight weeks of 45 minute lessons (member price $300);
- $400 for eight weeks of 60 minute lessons (member price $380)
Refunds, Credits, Cancellations
We cannot offer credit or refunds for single, student-cancelled lessons. Full refunds or full school credits are available until 24 hours before your 1st class begins. If you phone or stop by to cancel your registration 24 hours before your 2nd or 3rd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given, If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no school credit is available.
New Lakeview Location
Item! We're happy to introduce our newest private lesson location at Old Town School's Lakeview Studios! Located at 1519 W. Irving Park Road, our convenient new branch will offer private instruction in piano, voice, violin, fiddle, guitar, saxophone and more starting April 26th. Registration dates will be the same as for our other locations (see below.)

LESSON DATES
Private lessons run in 8-week sessions. Students can begin at any point in the session as long as there is an opening in the instructor's schedule.
