Founded in Mexico in 1959 by Efrén Sáenz during the heyday of Latin America guitar and vocal trios, the Trio Los Soberanos continues to share its passion for the bolero through its voices, guitar, and talent. In that same year, they released "Perla Negra" (Black Pearl) by the composer Renán Jiménez, which spent 8 weeks at #1 on the Hit Parade. Since then it has become the signature hit of the trio with the director's personal arrangement.
