Rachelyn Primm

Wiggleworms, Young Voices

Rachelyn is a vocalist, songwriter, and music educator from Charlotte, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and a lifelong connection to music education, having grown up with a mother who was a band director. She began studying violin at age five and later explored clarinet, piano, cello, and voice, shaping a well-rounded approach to music learning.
As a performer, her favorite experiences include singing as a Springhouse Entertainer at The Greenbrier Resort, All American Sweethearts: A Tribute to the Andrews Sisters, The Rita Rose Show, and a wide range of community performances. She has appeared at venues including Towle Theatre, JPAC, Davenport’s, The Memorial Opera House, Martyr’s, Schaller’s Pump, and Carnegie Hall (Lewisburg, WV).
She completed alternative teaching certification through Marshall University and has taught Elementary General Music. With both classroom experience and several years of childcare experience as a full-time nanny, she brings patience, creativity, and a strong understanding of early childhood development into the classroom. Her teaching centers on building community through singing, movement, and exploration, helping young learners feel safe, confident, and joyful as they make music together.
