Otto Anzures Dadda

Kids Group Piano

You may have seen or heard Otto Anzures Dadda performing his original bilingual, family-
friendly compositions across Chicago. His work has been featured in Goodman Theatre
productions (both in the Parks and at their Loop theater) and with Free Street Theater. He also
leads the live puppet band Changosnakedog, a project dedicated to celebrating the richness of
different cultures and languages. Through this work, Otto aims to share these values with the
younger generation, helping to shape a world where everyone—regardless of background or
heritage—feels a sense of belonging.
A Xochimilca/Hñähñu/Mexican/Italian artist, Otto moved to Chicago in 2020. Since 2021, he
has taught piano, ukulele, guitar, and cello to beginners, primarily at the Pre-K and K-8 levels.
He is an active leader in the Chicago arts scene—composing, producing, and hosting a family-
friendly puppet radio show.
Before moving to Chicago, Otto enjoyed an extensive musical career in Mexico. He played cello
and bass for Sak Tzevul, the pioneering Mexican Mayan rock band and leaders of the global
Indigenous rock movement, touring major festivals across Mexico, the USA, Canada, and
Europe. From 2012 until his move to Chicago, he also led, composed, and produced for Los
Fabulosos Batracios, a puppet rock band promoting diversity, inclusion, and environmental care.
