Marshall has been playing the drum set since 1984 and performs and teaches Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, African, Latin, Afro-Cuban, Carribbean and other world rhythms adapted for drum set. In addition, he has studied various percussion instruments from around the world, including the United States, African, the Middle East and South America. Plays jazz, blues and rock styles, as well as African and Afro-Cuban. He performs with the Chicago Afro-Beat Project, Rebecca’s Statue and Covered in Honey, works well with kids.

Education: B.A. in Music, Northwestern University, 1998.

Started at the Old Town School in February of 1999
