Mallory Coakley

Mallory Coakley is a musician and educator from the northwest side of Chicago with a love for folk, funk, and musical theatre. With experience teaching music to students in kindergarten through high school, she knows how to make a music lesson engaging, entertaining, and educational. In her classes, you can expect fun, joyful music making coupled with up-to-date pedagogical techniques and music theory.

Mallory graduated from North Park University in 2021 at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She has studied classical and contemporary voice, piano, and guitar, while performing with the North Park Theatre Company and choirs. As a composer, her musicals have been featured in short play festivals, and her compositions have been included in North Park choral programming. Mallory has been recognized for her musicianship by The Presser Foundation (2021 Presser Scholar) and North Park University (Ahnfeldt Medallion recipient, finalist in the Undergraduate Performance Awards, second place in the Service Awards).
