Erin has been teaching in Chicago since 1998 and has been teaching art at Old Town School since 2007. She believes that all children and adults can enjoy creating art in their own way and that expressing one's self visually can help improve confidence and communication skills in many areas. She hopes to create positive encounters with visual art to young children that will stay with them throughout their lives.
Erin is a photographer, fabric and fiber crafter, grammar nerd, parent, and costume drama aficionado. She’s a customer service administrator as well as an art teacher at the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Education: BA in Education and Literature, Beloit College
