Chris Kimmons moved from West Virginia years ago to pursue a music career in Chicago. In that time, he has covered ground in many genres including rock, metal, traditional, folk, jazz, fusion, and electronic music. Having studied music composition at Columbia College Chicago for his first two and a half years in the city, he has studied with many of Chicago's finest musicians. Appearing with acts such as Can I Get an Amen old time string band to soul/pop duo Lotus Empire, Chris has diverse musical interests and strong dedication to preserving music history while not allowing the past to inhibit the future.
