A weekly showcase of world music and dance featuring the best local and touring talent! Most shows are Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM.
Most World Music Wednesday concerts are free with a $10 suggested donation. To guarantee your entry make your reservations in advance - either online or by calling the box office at 773-728-6000. Reservations unclaimed 10 minutes before showtime will be released to waiting patrons.
Clinard Dance's Flamenco Quartet Project is pleased to return to Old Town School's World Music Wednesday. The Project is rooted in the traditional flamenco "cuadro" format: guitar, cajon/palmas, dancer and singer. Over the past four years we've connected the flamenco perspective to local artists from jazz, blues, and hip-hop backgrounds. For this concert, we'll be sharing new compositions with a focus on Jazz and Flamenco, featuring Joan Collaso.
