Chicago's own Michael J. Miles on guitar and Jill Kaeding on cello ignite the stage with Great American Jukebox, their unbridled journey through the greatest songs of the 20th century. World renowned for his banjo innovations (a few of which you'll hear) Miles now turns to guitar, and together he and Kaeding reimagine the music that shaped a generation.

Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, The Beatles - these are the voices that once poured from the AM FM radio into our cars and kitchens. Now, reimagined as instrumental duets, these classics become vivid yet familiar stories with fresh color, played with history and daring.

Miles's fingerstyle guitar delivers melody, harmony, and groove - while Kaeding's cello steps from walking bass lines to lead singer and back.

“The combination of cello and acoustic guitar in the Great American Jukebox is so, so good…loved it.” - George Lowden, Master Luthier & Founder of Lowden Guitars

“The music is fabulous. The arrangements are excellent and engaging. Michael plays some great guitar and Jill, on the cello, is superb!” - Greg Cahill, Founder, Grammy Nominated Special Consensus

"The man clearly does not dream small.” - Howard Reich, Chicago Tribune
