John Doe is a founding member of the legendary punk rock band X. He has written and curated two books on L.A. punk rock and appeared in over sixty film and television productions. He met Exene Cervenka at Beyond Baroque's long running Wednesday night poetry workshop in 1976. He currently lives with his wife and artist, Krissy Teegerstrom, in Austin, Texas.

A true renaissance woman, Exene Cervenka is a singer, artist, and poet whose work traverses virtually every aspect of those disciplines. She is known for her work as singer for the legendary punk band X as well as The Knitters and The Original Sinners.

Best known as the singers for X, one of the leaders of the late-'70s/early-'80s California punk explosion, both singers have also issued solo albums, launched several side bands, and penned books.
