Spotlight: Brass Band Music

The Chicago Windy City Ramblers are on a mission to enrich the cultural and musical development of Chicagoland's youth through the expression of Brass Band and New Orlean style of second line music. They skillfully weave modern jazz, bebop, blues, soul and funk with traditional second line sensibilities to create an infectious mood of dancing and celebration. Students will enjoy the festive spirit and maybe get inspired to pick up an instrument and revitalize Chicago's own rich musical history.
