AlgoRitmo is a fully improvised sonic journey blending Latin rhythms, electronic textures, psychedelic vibes, and jazz spontaneity. Each performance is a one of a kind exploration, shaped in real time by the energy of the moment. Expect hypnotic grooves, unexpected twists, and a sound that's constantly evolving.
AlgoRitmo is the brainchild of percussionist Peter “Maestro” Vale, coming to life unexpectedly during a spontaneous jam at a video shoot. What started as an impromptu soundcheck evolved into an irresistible musical moment that no one wanted to end, planting the seed for a new idea. The project was built on a simple philosophy: no charts, no rehearsals, no pressure. Just show up, listen, and create. As the concept grew, new layers of sound were added, from soulful, expressive saxophone lines to inventive, driving bass. AlgoRitmo now continues to conjure fully improvised tunes, effortlessly blending styles and pulling songs out of thin air. The group has energized audiences across Chicago, offering a fresh experience shaped by the collective history and skill of its members.
