This event celebrates the rich Puerto Rican tradition of the parranda. Traditionally held during the Christmas season and culminating on Three Kings Day (January 6th), parrandas involve groups of friends, family, and musicians traveling from house to house, playing instruments, and performing aguinaldos.

Chicago's Trulla de Campo band will be leading the event for an incredible evening of culture and song, where YOU become the singers.

Félix Sánchez – Musician & Founding Member of Voces de Recuerdo / Trulla de Campo

With over two decades of musical experience, Félix Sánchez has dedicated his career to preserving and celebrating the timeless sounds of Latin romance and Puerto Rican tradition. As a founding member of Voces de Recuerdo, Félix shares the stage with his longtime musical brothers: Ray Santiago (lead vocals, second guitar) and Marco Moreno (percussion). Félix himself brings his signature artistry as second vocalist and lead guitarist, specializing in the requinto. Together, they have kept the spirit of the bolero - the music of love - alive for more than 20 years.

Entering a new artistic chapter, Félix is also a member of Trulla de Campo, a vibrant ensemble that blends tradition, rhythm, and cultural pride. Joined by talented new members - Nancy, Margie, Tony, and Carlo - the group performs a rich repertoire of traditional Puerto Rican music, including música jíbara, trulla, plena, bolero, and merengue.

Félix Sánchez continues to honor his heritage through heartfelt performances that celebrate the past while embracing the future of Puerto Rican music.
