Jeff Parker is recognized as one of contemporary music's most versatile and innovative electric guitarists and composers. A longtime member of both the influential indie band Tortoise and the A.A.C.M. (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians), Parker is an integral part of what has become known as “The Modern Chicago Sound”.
