Riau Rhythm is a musical group from Indonesia founded in 2001 by composer Rino Deza Pati. They explore the history, humanity, and local wisdom of Malay culture and incorporate these ideas into a unique sound. Their creative process always begins with research on musical ideas and idioms of Malay traditional music which are then mixed into their innovative music.
