DJ Shub

DJ Shub has pioneered a growing genre of electronic music, PowWowStep, since his initial start with internationally-acclaimed group A Tribe Called Red. Born Dan General, he is a Mohawk, turtle clan of the Six Nations of the Grand River located in Ontario, Canada. Since the creation of his debut EP PowWowStep, he has grown more aware of the Indigenous way of life through his music, merging his heritage with his craft.

Mato Wayuhi

Mato Wayuhi is a multidisciplinary artist originally from South Dakota. He works in film/TV both as a producer and musical composer, as well as writing his own music, garnering critical acclaim from NPR, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. Most notably, Mato is the composer for the award-winning FX/Hulu series Reservation Dogs. "Mato's music is everything that good Indigenous art is right now. We are in a Renaissance and his music speaks directly to that movement. It's unapologetic, it doesn't need permission to exist and it's made with an urgency — An urgency to move us into a new era" says Sterlin Harjo, creator and showrunner of Reservation Dogs. A recent graduate of the University of Southern California, Mato continues to work and play in Los Angeles, spending parts of his summers attending ceremonies and bumming around with family back home.

OPLIAM is a Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist whose music crosses all musical boundaries. Sometimes described as Alter-Native Rock. OPLIAM has toured internationally, playing shows in Australia and New Zealand. OPLIAM's 3rd LP All Roads Are Good was released in May 2022. He is touring nationwide the rest of this year promoting the new project. In 2021, OPLIAM signed his first book deal with Penguin Random House. It is part of a new nonfiction series for young readers that will tell the real history of the U.S, one that challenges mainstream histories. The book is slated for publication for Native American Heritage Month (November 2022). In 2021, OPLIAM played shows with The Halluci Nation fka A Tribe Called Red and Gogol Bordello. OPLIAM is Native American on his father's side and has never forgotten where he comes from as a musician.
