A weekly showcase of world music and dance featuring the best local and touring talent! Most shows are Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM.

Most World Music Wednesday concerts are free with a $10 suggested donation. TO GUARANTEE YOUR ENTRY MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE EITHER ONLINE OR BY CALLING THE BOX OFFICE AT 773.728.6000. Reservations unclaimed 10 minutes before showtime will be released to waiting patrons.

Tukkiman is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader originally from Dakar, Senegal. His musical identity was shaped by experiencing the music revolution of the '90s. His music is a mix of AfroBeat, Reggae, smooth Hip Hop, and English Pop. His style is powerful, political, and knows no borders. Tukki's music is about diversity and inclusion. He fuses different genres of music to create a universal sound that is inspiring, engaging, and brings a message; he reminds us of our unified inner beauty and humanity.

His new album Assaman is paired with a film/visual album, in collaboration with the writer and director, the Native American artist, Katrina Brook Flores. The Assaman Project is a cosmic love story with the future, a multimodal and multidimensional immersive sensory experience bridging film, gallery, and performance.

The creative team of this project is comprised of a 100% Black and Indigenous composer, director, writers, cast, and crew.
