Virtual Family Concert: A Song Celebration with ShaZah

Join us online! Sing, clap and move with ShaZah (Shanta Nurullah and Zahra Baker) to old favorites and new songs from African American and world cultures. Instrumentation often includes guitar, sitar, frame drums, mbiras, djembe, shekere and other world percussion. They sing, tell stories and encourage audience participation, even across cyberspace! Their aim is to spread love and joy wherever they go.

A couple of ways to make your family's virtual experience even more enjoyable:

Enter your child's name's instead of your own when you join the event

Have a shaker and/or scarf available for each child to use at certain points during the event
