Most World Music Wednesday concerts are free with a $10 suggested donation. To guarantee your entry make your reservations in advance - either online or by calling the box office at 773-728-6000. Reservations unclaimed 10 minutes before showtime will be released to waiting patrons.

Jazz a la Mexicana is a concert celebrating traditional and folkloric Mexican music in symbiosis with jazz. The repertoire includes jazz arrangements of Cielito Lindo, Besame Mucho, Huapango de Moncayo, and many more.
Jazz a la Mexicana is a bi-national and intercultural project that unites Mexican born and Mexican-American musicians, honoring their roots while embracing jazz as a vehicle of expression of their culture.
The group features Arturo Palafox (piano, arrangements & musical director), Eliud Ernandes (bass), and Harry Delgadillo (percussion) from Jalisco, Mexico, and Victor Garcia (trumpet) , Ian Torres (trumpet), Harley Figueroa (saxophone), Gustavo Cortiñas (drums), Diego Salcedo (guitar), Hugo Salcedo (guitar), and Braulio Salcedo (percussion) from Chicago, Illinois.
