Originating in Chicago in 2009, AfroZep quickly gained recognition for their unique/original take on being a tribute act. By the following year they had already been recognized by the Chicago Reader as Best Zeppelin Cover Band and by WXRT Radio as ‘Our Led Zeppelin Cover Band of Choice'. Chicago area rock, jazz, and African musicians collide to perform a set of Led Zeppelin songs infused with grooves and rhythms found throughout the continent of Africa.
