Feeling stuck writing four chord songs? In this workshop we’ll review chord scales for major keys, and use that as a jumping off point for leaving the key. For each type of chord, we’ll get a taste of the underlying theory but mostly focus on examples of how they’re used in different genres/traditions and how you can integrate them into your own writing. No theory background required, but familiarity with major chord scales (e.g. from Songwriting: Fundamentals) will be helpful; bring an instrument!
