This workshop is designed for players with prior handpan experience or musicians who already have a basic understanding of rhythm and music theory.
We’ll dive into more complex rhythmic patterns, coordination techniques, and dynamic phrasing. Participants will explore how to incorporate Middle Eastern and African rhythmic concepts into handpan playing, expanding both groove and musical vocabulary.
This workshop focuses on developing flow, layering rhythms, and deepening musical expression while maintaining the organic, resonant quality that makes the handpan unique.
