This workshop is an introduction to the djembe and dunun drums, and the music and culture of West Africa. Have fun learning traditional music played for celebration, dance, and life events. Students will work on drumming techniques, listening and communication skills, and begin building a musical vocabulary.
Students that have a djembe can bring it, but we also have drums to share.
