This exciting new class is the first in a series and is your entry point into the world of Audio Engineering and the Recording Arts. Through the use of GarageBand, students will begin learning the basic vocabulary, common practices, creative techniques and the foundations of audio engineering and music production. In this session students will create projects using Apple loops and software instruments, included with GarageBand. Each student will be provided with a complete audio set up including MacBook, midi keyboard, usb interface, microphones, headphones, and other sound equipment for use in the classroom.
