Welcome to Blues Harp 2 Online! Ready to kick your playing up a notch?

Now that we can play single notes via tongue blocking (sort of?) and know our way around a metronome (kind of?) we’re ready to take our playing to the next level! Log onto class and meet people from all around the country just as passionate (and confused) by this tiny but mighty instrument. We’ll be leveling up our established skills by getting into the nuts and bolts of techniques such as vamping, splits, “dirty notes” and (the dreaded!) bending. We’ll also be honing our skills on the more complex Blues rhythms, and covering some of the basic dos and don’ts of playing with a live band. Plus a little music theory. (A very little, we promise!) This class uses quite a bit of Filisko tab, so be ready to purchase and download 2-4 songs from filiskostore.com for the class. Now grab your diatonic harmonica in the key of C and let’s get rolling!
