Afro-Cuban Rumba was developed in the early 20th century by dockworkers and people of African descent in the new world into a complex language of music and dance with several styles and modes, all based around the clave. This workshop will cover techniques for multiple instruments and musical parts including claves, cata, congas, and cajon. Have fun while learning traditional music in a group setting.
All levels welcome.
