This workshop with internationally renowned fiddle player, Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters, will get students of any level on the road to building great solos, improvising, backing up singers, and building rhythmic chops. Jeremy is an experienced teacher whose approach is suited to students of all ability levels. This class will allow any fiddle player to take home a new idea or ideas to put to use in their practicing and playing. Along with thorough instruction, Jeremy will be here to answer questions about fiddle and improvising playing in bluegrass music.
Jeremy is a diverse musician: playing fiddle since the age of 3, he is an accomplished guitar and mandolin player, vocalist, and songwriter. When Jeremy is not touring with his GRAMMY award-winning band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Jeremy performs as a solo artist using looping and effects to blend multiple instruments and vocals. He also performs in all-star line-ups ranging from funk music to traditional bluegrass.
