With a strong emphasis on rhythm, chords, and song structure, you’ll learn the essential tools to play piano with confidence on your own and with others. You’ll learn to listen carefully and play in steady tempo with the group. Guided by an accomplished pianist as your teacher, you will progress as a group on piano pieces and work on skills and technique challenges matched to experience level and work from the Faber Accelerated Piano Adventures For the Older Beginner - Lesson Book 2 and Faber Accelerated Piano Adventures For the Older Beginner - Theory Book 2.
With a maximum of eight students, class size remains small allowing for individualized instruction.
